If you have normal pores but are afraid it’ll change, or if your pores are just starting to enlarge, there are ways you can prevent them from changing.
But wait, if you have enlarged pores, read up and follow these tips so it doesn’t get worse during your pores’s rehab.
First, get rid of any product that irritates your skin. Sometimes strong products are fine for a short-term use, but when time passes they can start acting agaisnt you, depending on your skin type.
Once this is done, cleanse. Avoid the extra oil by cleansing properly and removing any buildup or dirt. Choose the right cleanser for your skin type and wash your face properly (luckily, we have a post about that and you can check it our here (LINK)!) and avoid soap or scrubs.
Exfoliate only once or twice per week. This will help clean your skin and get rid of dirt that can clog your pores, but don’t overdo it or you might irritate your skin and harm it.
Don’t skip skin moisturizer. Even if your skin is oily, moisturizers help your natural sebum go into the deeper layers of your skin.
Use sunscreen everyday. Everyone should use sunscreen every time they go out during the day, no matter the weather or skin type. You can choose a sunscreen with at least 30 SPF, or go for a skincare product that includes it.
