Our goal will be to regulate the skin’s oil without affecting our protecting barrier or fully getting rid of it.
CLEAN AND PREPARE YOUR SKIN
The most effective way to beat the oil is cleansing your face both morning and night. Go for a gentle cleanser, like WASH and beware of washcloths and facial sponges, go soft on your skin.
DEEP TREATMENT
On top of that you could add a serum, you could choose between RESTART or COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, or even better, use them both. The first one is a gel serum with balancing actives that control sebum, the latter reduces pores.
MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN
Then go for an oil-free moisturizer, even if your skin is oily, it needs to stay moisturized. But make sure to vary the amount you apply depending on the area.
We have the perfect option, GLOBAL is an oil-free and light cream especially made for combination and oil skin types.
ONCE IN A WHILE TREATMENTS
From time to time you could treat yourself with a mask or clay, to help draw out oil and cleanse your pores. At Sepai we have a few to choose from.
First there’s a classic, the PEEL MUD mask gets rid of extra sebum and deep-cleanses the pores. METAMORPHOSE is a mask the softly exfoliates, mattifies and enhances cellular regeneration. The last mask we recommend is MOIST RELIEF, a gel mask that hydrates and is perfect for oily but dehydrated skin.
Lastly, one thing you can never go without is sunscreen, this can be a problem because most sunscreens are thick and block pores, which is why you should go for a light one or a gel.
With all these tips and new-found information you are now able to fight oily skin and balance your sebum!
